Delete your HisaabBook account

1.Delete from inside the App (recommended)

1. Open HisaabBook and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted from our servers right away.

2.What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes from our servers:

• Your account (email, name, login credentials) and profile preferences;
• All your transactions and balance;
• All spending goals and savings goals;
• SMS de-duplication fingerprints linked to your account;
• Your group memberships;
• Your support message history.

Shared group records (group expenses, splits, and settlements you took part in) are kept so other group members' shared history stays correct — but they are no longer connected to any active account of yours.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no grace period and no way to restore your account or data afterwards. If you want to keep a copy of your transactions, export them as CSV from the App before deleting.

3.Can't access the App?

If you no longer have the App installed or can't sign in, email us at jkclaude143@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership, complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email.
